What is your role at Concept?
I work as a Principal Consultant focused on providing contract/interim IT Infrastructure,Network and Cloud resource to organisations throughout the UK (core clients include IT Professional Services, Managed Services and Software as a Service). I am passionate about providing a high quality service to all my clients. I pride myself on my ability to get under the skin of a company’s culture and technical requirements, allowing me to find candidate’s best suited to their needs.
Tell us about your journey at Concept so far.
I joined in March 2014 as a Recruitment Consultant with over 10 years sales experience. I progressed to Senior Consultant within 18 months thanks to success in building up a new division within Concept, focusing on retail IT. During my time here I’ve attended multiple incentives in celebration of my success including various lunch clubs, Sailing in Salcombe, Chester Races, and trips abroad.
Why do you love recruitment?
I like that recruitment is target driven and extremely rewarding when those targets are achieved. It’s great for getting to know new people and building relationships. I have long term relationships with my contractors as they work on multiple assignments for my clients, some of them have even become good friends.
Why Concept?
Concept provides a modern fresh approach to the recruitment model. As an independent SME there is more flexibility for growth and development than is typically available at a larger high street agency.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I’m pretty active and enjoy going to the gym. Love music (most genre's), and like to try out new restaurants - quite the social butterfly! I also love travelling and taking in the culture of new places.
Finally, if you were a film character who would you be?
Probably Ariel from The Little Mermaid! I was a competitive swimmer for 15 years so very much at home in the water!
